I know there is a lot more experience here than I have with outdoor photography. I like fowl weather myself. But I treat my camera like a new born baby in bad weather. I don’t even like to see one little speckle of a drop of water on my camera. But it has gotten a few more rain drops on it than I like and have always wonder if I just shortened the life expectancy of my lens or camera body.
Which leads me to this question? At what point would you be concerned about your camera and lenses longevity and functionality?
For me so far so good. I didn’t have a killer whale at sea world splash my camera like a friend of mind did once.
