Redmond wolf...Hybrid?
« on: January 29, 2012, 08:35:05 PM »
Friend sent me this pic. She stated it was roaming around Redmond, and "mangie" looking. Pic was taken back in September,

To me it almost looks yote ish but a littl on the big side thoughts?

Probably a coyote/domestic dog cross.  Not blocky enough of a snout to have wolf in it.  I killed one a few years back in my pasture that looked like it was a coyote/german shepherd cross.

agreed, looks a little too big for a yote, could be a hybrid.  I heard of a hybrid that just bit the dust over here in our neck of the woods last week

Redmond and east Bellevue were inundated with "Coydogs" coyote dog crosses back in the 70s and 80s. That nose sure looks coyote, but the size looks way to big for a westside yote.
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
