I am looking at Hunting Colorado Unit 4 around the Black Mountain area. Rifle 1st season if I draw 2nd if I don't. Anybody have any info on this unit where is a good starting point? I have been in contact with CDFW and have some info but the more info I can gather the better I will be before the true scouting begins. I know it hold a fair amount of Elk as well has hunters, and the father I hunt away from the roads the better my chances increase.
