have had good luck swinging bomber Patterns for Atlantic salmon in Quebec and in Russia. Really neat to see a 40 inch Salmon sitting on the bottom of a deep pool come and smack your skating fly. Of corse it typically takes at least 8 hours of swinging before a hit. Sometimes more. usually happens when your not paying attention  and miss the strike
