Need Place to fish,fire hangout for a day??

So my Pregnant GF is making me take her to the woods. She has to get out of the house with this weather we have so i agreed to take her fishing with me. She wants somewhere we can hang out on the river and maybe start a fire/cook some fish and hang out. Im located in Everett but willing to travel 100-150 miles and even rent a cabin or camper.

Making you? You should be honored. There are some nice spots up along the Skagit, especially along South Skagit Hwy. It's a good time of year with all the Eagles up there. I don't know how the fishing is but it's nice to get out. You could also try the Gardner bar just outside Mt Vernon. Turn off of Hwy 20 onto Gardner rd and follow to the end. If you have a 4x4 you can get back away from the boat launch and possibly have some privacy.

Head east to Granite Falls.  Keep going west.  Once you past Verlot you will find lots of great area.

Not sure if there is any fishing but, you find some great area to hang out in.

haha..Thats the truth!! Yeah I have a lifted 4x4 Diesel that sinks like a rock.

Im not even sure what is open and legal. Id focus in just getting out znd enjoying the time....probably better scenery than fishing.
