:dunno:
Good afternoon all!!  I will be Turkey Hunting this upcoming season in the Kettle Falls
Colville ares, and I was wondering if there is any good private or public land that is the best?  i will be bring my son with me, it will be his first time hunting so we are getting excited ....So if anyone could help us out that would be greatly appreciated!!! :IBCOOL:

When are you planning on going over there? What days? I can maybe link up with you and show you some of the areas. it is a big piece of property over there and a lot of birds.

Joe
Joe,
I am looking on coming the 1st weekend of the season.   And that whole week..

I am heading over on the 11th, if you are still over there. Let me know and I can show you some areas. There are two real nice places I found last year that would be a good area for a youth.

Joe
Sounds good...Heck I may come a few days prior...When is the youth hunt this year?

youth hunt usually the week prior to opening day, I will look into it more. I have a lot of things going on, so send me a PM now and then and we can link up.

When I take my kids hunting we go over a couple days early and try to spend as much time as possible scouting.  Try to get a couple spots identified so that you have a backup.  Just remember those things can see and hear really well.  I can't believe how many birds I've spooked by being careless.

I will do that, thank you very much!
Lord , we've been here on days before
and often times you've let me score
Now do you think that on this day
you could send a gobbler down my way?
And , if not , just let me say--
you've given me another day
to hunt the bird I love the best.
I don't mind sharing with the rest

Most of the land up there is private, unless you guided or know someone up there I would go elsewhere......    :twocents:

:twocents: of complete wrong......tons of state, dnr, timber company lands, and National Forest.....look closely at these  lands adjacent to private property.   Be sure about where you are though.
