Longer seasons. More GMU's
If you do some scouting as to where the fatest fall turkeys are and they may be in areas that have never had a fall season, you might break a record for the biggest turkey.
A few years ago I was driving through a GMU where there was no fall turkey hunting and saw some huge turkeys standing next to the road.
In the spring I think they live behind no hunting signs.
