I know I had to do it too, now go visit a site called www.stropman.com so you can get a great price on strop and compound to keep that sucker sharp!

I went with black and green compound and xl strop - I got a bunch of crap to sharpen

Haha, I know, I'm doing it but it will take a few days to a week to get the info to them, make the transfer of funds to my paypal account and get it off to Rainshadow.  I don't want him to have to wait for all that if I can get him payment quicker some other way.

For any of you who may be on the fence about buying one, do it.  These things are SCARY ass sharp and hold an edge like almost none I've ever used.  I skinned 4 deer with mine this year and barely had to sharpen it.  You will not be disappointed.
