East/Central I'm about 1 called for every 3-5 stands. Wet side more like 1 called for every 10. Finially called a few in on the wet side this last weekend. They never came in shotgun range though.

My called to killed ratio is sadly much lower! Steep end of the learning curve. Someday I'll get this shooting stuff figured out.  :dunno:

I sit with my gun standing vertical and when they ocme in I slowly lower the gun if they get behind a tree or rock then I lower it fast and have it aimed and ready.  I found when you lay it across your lap it moves a lot more than you know about.  Vidoetape yourself and go from there.

I raised my success by placing a tree stand a week prior to the hunting :twocents:  Right now the foilage is easy to see into and they dont get away with much when Im elavated.  When im on the ground though :bash: :bash:
