kind of camera

What kind of camera do you all recommend to have with you while hunting/hiking/shed hunting......I am in the market for a durable, somewhat lightweight camera that takes excellent pictures and has a good zoom......

I would consider a used Canon G series camera.  We have a G5 we take hunting.  Solid little camera & you can pick them up real reasonable on ebay.  Find one with all the accessories and original box from the original owner.
