2011 Observatory Bull, European mount.

I just got my 2011 modern Observatory bull back. This is my first European mount, I felt it wasn't worthy of a full mount but I had to do something with it. I enjoyed the hunt, after so many years of chasing spikes it felt good to have a any bull tag in my pocket. Even though I didn't seal the deal with a big bull and had a heart breaker when I shot this bull. After this bull hit the ground, I caught movement in the right of my scope when a easy 340 plus bull walked out of the heavy timber and stood over my downed bull for 5 min or so, he then walked slowly down the ridge feeding. While I was field dressing this bull I could catch a glimpse of the big bull every now and then still feeding down the ridge, 400 yards or so away. That's hunting, but it sure hurt. Never the less I was still grateful to have been fortunate enough these days to take a branched bull in this state.

I've Chassed many a elk in there . the best way out is down hill inless your gonna cheat. I've walked outta there in the dark many a night . Nice bull Hammer is that the one you pilled up with the .450? I chased a couple of bulls in there this year a 4x and a 5x5 and a small 6x6 . we didn't find the big guy gotta wonder if he showed up after archery season .

Yes, it was the first thing the 450 Ultra connected with other than paper.
