When the water is really dirty the guys on the beach do the best!

I've seen that episode a couple times now. Looks like fun.

I haven't done that since I was a kid growing up in Astoria and our dad would take us to Wauna or Westport to camp and fish off the beach. Only remember catching one salmon and that was back in the early 60's. I really want to get back down there and try it again. Still have a brother in Astoria and he's probably out fishin down there as we speak. Been waiting for a good report from him so I can plan a trip down there.

This a blast especially since its pretty easy fishing once you find a public spot and the whole family can enjoy.

There was a huge pissing match last year between the people who were boating verses the plunker's.   The plunking gear was like like they did (Three spin and glows ) on one line out 70 yards and dropping it off.  It was getting almost physical boaters were getting tangled with the bankers and cutting the bankers line.   The banky's were out 70 yards and the boaters were coming in on that water.  And seemed that the bankers were catching more fish then the boater's.

Just bring a high capacity shotgun and everything will be just fine.
