QUESTION? 12pts goin for quaility and bull tags this year

For the Bull Tag, what would you put in for? Gmu 340 or 346?
I know both areas. Take in consideration the amount of people/roads/and 346rd closures.
Just trying to figure out Choice 1 and Choice 2.
Nice to hear your opinions and comments on this subject.

Its really personal preference and knowlege of the area. I went up to 340 and saw a really nice bull last year, but you will probalby see more people then elk. If you aren't in a hurry to get drawn I would put in for Colockum you have to best chance to shoot a monster and having an amazing hunt.

Both of these units have nice bulls but in general rifle season I probably wouldn't hunt either. I would consider Cowiche or Nile.

346, would be my choice. But then again I know the area really well.....
If you draw it, shoot me a pm.

I guess I should specify... for the bull permits I would go cowiche or nile. The quality permit I would definately put in for Little Naches.

I have only spent a littl amount of time in those areas. I like both units and some dandy bulls get shot in both each year. If you know one better then the other I would stick with.

Depends on the weapon. I really like 340 but also would go with the unit that I know the best.

Well. started to bow hunt. Got my first deer last year and a new bow this year. Got the 2011 destroyer 350.
Since I have all those points. Im fond of using my rifle for the tag. If I dont get drawn, Im hoping for the multi season to fall back on.

I don't think that you have a better chance at a big bull in the clockum than 340 . I looked at a ton of clockum bulls last year and remember in the last couple of years a couple of real good bulls came outta 340. your best chance for a big bull if your willing to work hard would be 346.

That's a tough call to make because they're both good units.
340 had some nice bulls get pulled out last year and I believe it was norsepeak who posted a video of a nice bull he called in this past season in the little naches??? Either way good luck and keep us posted.

Im trying to decide the same thing. I have 15 points in the bull category and will be applying for rifle this year. Observatory and Peaches Ridge are my top two choices, just can't decide which order. I have spent time in both areas when I was living in Ellensburg. Might have to flip a coin
