Buck we wish we harvested in 2011
« on: March 15, 2012, 07:30:56 AM »
I figured since it is the slow time of year some of you might appreciate seeing this.  It is a crappy video, but not bad considering it was shot with a $200 camera from more than 0.5 mile away.  If you watch as he moves and I try to focus the camera different characteristics of his rack become clear.  He was a masher 3x5 at 29-31" wide.  This is one of two bucks we were after in this area and the other one is even bigger but never got another look at him...

Very cool video! To bad it was blurry but you knowwhat he looked like  ;) I would assume your going back up there this year to see if he made it thru the winter  :dunno:

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Thanks guys... ya we will be going on a scouting trip up there at the very least.  Where we end up hunting is in the air though depending on multi-season draw results, other scouting trips etc.
