Thanks: cant wait for this year i got a score to settle with a couple of real giants that gave me the slip last year up high.

That back ground looks VERY familiar......glad the wolves haven't eatten them all!!! Congrats on a nice buck!!! You earned him if that where I think it is. Was that in 2011? Boy , that brings back alot of great memories with that scenery!! Thx

Pic was from 2010.  Definately got some excercise on this one.  Got him late afternoon and had a long pack to basecamp in the dark by headlamp and stumbled into camp just before midnight.  I figure if I'm tired and sore at the end of the hunt it's a good hunt.

2010 in the BOB Marshall Wilderness. 28 miles to base camp and another 7 miles to spike camp with horses of course.
killed the buck on the 18th of sept and the bull on the 24th of sept.

nice buck, that country looks real familiar, looks like the middle fork country.  The first two are from 09, and the last one is from 07.

I'm assuming you're talking about the one laying on his back.  He scored just over 20 if I recall correctly.

The one with the blood on the rock is actually a very misleading bear.  She scored maybe 16" but her tooth age came back at 19 years old!   :yike:

Ya, the guy with the orange shirt, blood on the rock. Wow..only a 16! I cant believe it! Gorgeous bear regardless though. Thanks~
