I've tried pretty much most of them out there and I keep a pile of Harris Bipods for some reason. In my opinion, it is hard to beat a Harris with the tilt, notched legs and Pod-Lock installed. This is for all all around shooting, varmints and big game.

Other than weight, Harris is hard to beat for prone.

Snipepod is probably the lightest but takes some getting used to.

Anyone use the Primos Trigger Sticks....I have messed with them in the store...seem good and easy to use, the only thing I have heard bad is they dont work so smooth in really cold weather.

I find it hard to fault a Harris. When I shot with magic szerbiak, who is a precision rifle coach and the best all around shot i have seen,  he was all about the versa pod.

Trigger sticks by primos are ok, but you have to predetermine if you are going to shoot standing or a sitting position. I always find that if i have one kind i'll need the other.  :twocents:

Not to thread jack, but I have a follow up question.  On the harris bipods are the feet free to rotate?

I have a cheaper bipod, bought it over 10 years ago.  When I put forward pressure on the bipod the feet just rotate and allow the thing to walk forward, which is a huge problem for me.
