Elk in the off season.
« on: April 01, 2012, 07:06:15 PM »
We went to the elk/sheep feeding stations near Yakima and had a blast taking pictures. Take your kids for a ride on the old army truck right in the herd, they would love it, and so would your wife!   Here are a few of the many I took.

A nice wide 6 not 10 yds. from us.

A pair of nice 6X6's doing a little light sparring.

Sheep at the feeding station.

A nice young ram not far from where we camped in the Yakima River Canyon.

Another favorite picture of the elk herd.
