Just talked with Doug tonight about three different bows, this one of them and it will be bare at near $900.

Added 3/28/12--I did not add the words, including tax.

The Nock Point up in Mt Lake Terrace is a big Hoyt shop. Guaranteed to hook you up right! Got my Vector Turbo all set up and then some for a very good price. Worth the drive if you are within 100 miles in my opinion.

Thats a tough one.... Define "good deal"  :chuckle:  If finding a deal monetarily it will be tough... most guys arent gonna sell a brand new bow... but it could happen. Classifieds, ebay, etc... If buying new it wil only vary a little from dealer to dealer.. in which case go with whoever you trust. Then you wont go wrong they will take care of you and you are getting a good deal in the way of customer service and quality product... I am sure there are lots of hoyt dealers out there that fit the bill. I am partial to XXX archery in Rainier, ORE.

I agree with blackvelt, find a good shop lots out there XXX is a good one and GNW as well. The thing that drives shop owners nuts is when a guy comes in with the bow they bought off the internet and now wants the shop to help them tune it for them. Remember when you buy a bow from the shop the tune is free but when you buy off the internet you will pay full price for the same tune. This can be from $20.00 to $75.00 depending on what needed to be done. Buying from a shop is the best way to go every time.

Why would it drive them nuts? That's like saying a car dealership wouldn't want you to bring a car into their shop for mechanical work if you didn't purchase the car there. As long as they're a paying customer what's the problem?

Unless you're saying people want their bows tuned up for free. I can't imagine anyone expecting to get something for nothing.

I see guys all the time who come into the shop where I shoot, and want the stuff they buy off line, fixed or cut to size. if you were a shop owner and had all the same stuff in your shop, how would that make you feel. yes they are still spending money, but the shops depend on more then just the dollars for fixing and tuning. The items that sell keeps the doors open.
