After days of deciding what to do I decided to roll out ....Since the season is opening on a Sunday I think the pressure will be low ...not that it matters opening week ...They will be all over the place ...We are taking our FRIEND WHO MISSED on my video ( heart attack ) Hopefully he can redeem himself this trip .... I will be sure to have my video tied to my hand this year ...I will get some serious video I hope this week .....good luck to everyone and whack a few nice ones .....

Bear, you stayin in the lower camp or upper??

I like the bear creek colder there camp.  Either cottonwood camp or the horse camp havnt vstayed there yet. Depends on the snow.  Going to stay at Bennys tomorrow then hit the gate in the morning. Rick

My 1st turkey was off the Refuge - 20 lbs, 3/4 spurs, 8-3/4 beard.

John - You'll have to let me know what area you hunt ... maybe able to meet up someday ... good luck to you and yours.
 
Off to Northport area for myself and Little Buck @ 5am Saturday April 14th to noon Sunday 22nd.

We do bear creek too, have done the horse camp a couple times, but we like bear. We'll be the guys with "tarp" city and a grey dodge and tent set up, swing by and say hi! we'll be out there saturday, work won't let me out early....

I'm in Cle Elum stopping at the Cool store in Wenatchee in the morning then upthrough Hunter to Colville. I'll stay at bear creek then. I'll be in my Kodiak canvas tent. Cant wait love calling critters. Rick
