Rifle Sight-in
« on: April 16, 2012, 07:46:16 PM »
Where would one sight-in a new .308 rifle this Friday? Anywhere from Bellevue to Snohomish would be ok.   :bash:

Obviously, I'm not a member of any club.

Thanks,
Carl

I bet they are still under water. It floods pretty easily there. They also are getting expensive. Last time I was there it was  $15.00 to shoot.

Kenmore is a good place especially on a weekday. Gets crowded on weekends.

Everett  sportsmens club, though I am not sure if they are open yet.

As of last week, they're still flooded and not open. Personally, I wouldn't piss on Kenmore if it were on fire. Last time I was there I waited over an hour and a half for a seize fire, everyone that was shooting was either standing around waiting to retrieve their targets or had given up and just left...all while the Range Master (and I use that term lightly) stood around with his buddies smoking and drinking coffee. When I approached them about it, they just shrugged me off and went about their business. Never again...

Everett, yeah it's a little run down and it's usually closed from late Fall to early Spring, but there's always a warm fire burning and a few good ol boys ready to share some good stories. I enjoy the place
I worry about belonging to a club that accepts people like me as members.

Hit Kenmore. Its $10 for public, they do charge more for multiple guns and the public can only use the 100yd range but if you can go durring the week it wont be bad.

If you don't mind the little drive south. I prefer renton fish and game. You pay $12? which includes pistol and shoot up to two hundred yards. The range master there is kinda a odd duck, but the facility is in better shape then Everett or Kenmore. Also, I think at Kenmore if you are not a member you can't shoot till the weekend.

Kenmore public range is noon to 7pm on weekdays 9am to 7pm weekends. I just looked and they did raise their prices this year to 12.50 plus $2 per additional rifle. And I do agree that there are better ranges out there from my experience but if its the closest and most convenient it will do the job. I just wish they would open up their longer ranges to the public.

drive north to the plantation range, its south of bellingham and the rifle range goes out to 300 yards and they have the best pistol range I have ever been to

Issaquah Sportsmen Club is okay.  Non-members pay about $10.
