Can't Wait to Head East!
« on: April 18, 2012, 02:04:28 PM »
Greetings Everyone,

I have been lurking for the past two years and decided to create an account.  My 16 year old son and I are heading out to Newport for four days starting on the 27th. This is our third year trying to bag a bird. We hunted above Calispell Lake (NW of Newport) two years ago. We talk to the birds with no luck. Last year we went to Klikitat twice and never even got a gobble.

I have been very impressed with the detail and amount of birds stories shared on this board so far this season. Thanks for all of the valuable information on how to outsmart theses feathered tricksters.

Good luck to all.
