US HR 4089 was passed by the House yesterday, the Hunter's Heritage Act. Here's a breakdown of our elected representatives and how they voted:
Washington H.R. 4089 Vote
Posted on April 18, 2012
Representative Vote
Norman D. Dicks (D-WA) Nay
Rick Larsen (D-WA) Nay
Jim McDermott (D-WA) Nay
Adam Smith (D-WA) Nay
Doc Hastings (R-WA) Yea
Jamie Herrera Beutler (R-WA) Yea
Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) Yea
David G. Reichert (R-WA) Yea
Reid Ribble (R-WA) Yea
As you can see, this vote went completely along party lines from our state and we should all remember that when it's time to vote in November. The Ds do not support your hunting privileges or your 2nd Amendment rights. Get rid of as many as you can.
We can clearly see who our friends are. If there is a "Nay" next to their name, they do not appear to support hunting or hunter's rights. Vote them out of office.
Dicks is leaving. Says he's been in long enough (35 years) and time to retire.
