Florida Keys - here I come
« on: April 26, 2012, 09:03:11 AM »
Well after two previous years of not being able to go, I am able to go this year-  Fishing in Florida Keys...  We have a fishing adventure type planned with 6 really good guys.  Fish for Tarpon on first evening of arrival. Fish offshore for dolphin, tuna, and sail fish the second day.  Fish Tarpon again second evening.  Next two days are back country fishing (redfish, sea trout, sharks etc.) and tarpon on the first evening. Next day is strictly shark fishing and then last day grouper and snapper.  Whew!  I cannot wait.  Were renting a house, cheaper than hotel once you figure 6 guys somewhere close to the marina on the beach.  2 boats on all trips except the off shore Tuna run...  Stoked, last year lots of 100lb Tarpon and numerous 9 foot Sharks and of course eats of the Mahi-Mahi....

I am so stoked, not exactly sure where as we fly into Miami and drive to our destination.   My buddy from Portland has set it all up.  I just know he is a freak about big fish and numerous fish too, and for him to quit going to AK and do this trip for the past couple years means alot.... I just can't wait...
