One does not "FEEL" facts, manure.

And I'm not brainwashed by the "Ideological subversiveness" technique that was used on you.

My feelings have nothing to do with stating the facts.  If my "feelings" were a factor, I would be a LOT nastier to you than I have been.  But I keep my feelings seperate from the truth about what we're facing.

Sure, whatever you say.
We would be better off to not have been, but since we're here, it's our responsibility to exist without standing in natures way, It is not in our DNA to mandatorily become environmentally destructive juggernauts!

Just use the ignore feature and you don't have to read what he has to say.  I got tired of reading humanure's posts and placed him on ignore for a couple weeks.  Then I took him off ignore a couple days ago.  The feature works well...........give it a try. :twocents:

I'm excessively focused on correcting the lies out here in the ether.  Putting him on ignore will only keep me from that task.

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Besides... I'm in bed with a broken hip.  I'm bored.

I'll give it a try(the unthinkable!). How does one use ignore again?

I say if you don't like to read his posts, then don't read them. Pretty simple. If he's civil then there's no reason why he shouldn't be able to post on this site. What good is a message board if only certain opinions are allowed?

2 points, and I will have said my peace on this subject.

1.  Point is that it is nearly impossible to follow a thread without an innordinate number of posts by one poster, which is basically the same point stated over and over, quoted numerous times, and responded to, to the detriment of the original topic.

2. I come to this site to read about topics that I care about and read the various opinions of people who generally share the same principles, values, and passions I do.  I respect the divergent opinions of these people.  I believe it is pretty clear that Humanure doesn't share the same principles, values and passions as most of us that come here.  This is a very well, and actively moderated forum, it is one of the reasons that I visit here often.  I'll check in from time to time, but until the frenzied pace of humanure's posting fades away, I'll spend more time elsewhere following the topics I'm passionate about.

I am free only because thousands of brave Americans have given their lives for me...

Click on "profile"  then "account settings" and then "ignore/buddy list"  and it should be self explanatory from there.  Hope this helps.

Done! Hopefully I will be able to refrain from such childish spats again.
