A month of new taxidermy mounts!
« on: April 29, 2012, 12:21:46 PM »
I recently picked up my Euro mount from Michelle, and have my Pintail mount from John enroute to my house.   The deer is not my biggest by any stretch but my first archery anything so it means a lot to me.  Switching from a modern way of hunting to archery had a ton of hurdles, and after shooting in my backyard every day for 3 months straight, I wanted something to remeber it by.   The pintail is my very first pintail and by far the prettiest one I have harvested.  I was lucky enough to have my camera that day.
Rather be dead than cool.

Seth, I remember my first archery deer.  It was a little spike but but it got me hooked on Archery hunting for life.  You should be proud of that deer and I bet he tasted mighty fine and tender.  I'm glad you like the pinny.  It was fun mounting him up for you...........John

Great way to preserve both memories.  Nicely done by both taxidermists.
