Edge of any loggin road or feild with black burries will get you in the area. BTW if you putyou general location in your post, or on you Profile people will help you more.  :twocents:

Delicious.

When you "get some rabbits", try this....

Tuscan Stlye Rabbit
1 lemon
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or 1/2 teaspoon dried
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 pounds rabbit pieces

Grate the rind from the lemon. Place in a 9" x 13" baking dish with the juice from the lemon, oil, garlic, rosemary and pepper. Add the rabbit and turn the pieces to coat all sides. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.

Turn the pieces occasionally. Bake the rabbit uncovered at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes. Turn the pieces frequently and baste with pan juices until the rabbit is tender and the juices run clear when you pierce the meat with a fork. If desired, broil the meat for a few minutes to achieve a light brown color.

Slurpity Slurp!

Yeah, you have to wait until the blackberries are ripe............since you have to wait until Sept to hunt them (unless you don't mind poaching).

oh ok i didn't know rabbits were fall only.  so are pretty much all animals only huntable in the fall? If that's the case, I'll just focus on fishing for now and worry about it later

Cottontail Rabbit and Snowshoe Hare 5/day, see notes Statewide:
Sept. 1, 2012 - Mar. 15, 2013 Possession limit: 15 straight or mixed bag
Forest Grouse 4/day, see notes Statewide:
Sept. 1 - Dec. 31 Possession limit: 12 straight or mixed bag

The best think to do is walk old logging roads right after a rain. with a 22lr you can hunt for rabbit or Grouse. the season run together and use a small game licence..  Another thing to look for is Salmon berries. grouse love them and they seem to grow in many areas near loggin roads... The best thing to do is do some MT biking or hiking and find some likely spots that have grass and berries. Generally go into the hills around the greater seattle area.  :twocents:

While I will NEVER encourage or condone poaching.....

We had them ALL OVER the Microsoft campus. (We also had those "funny mushrooms" all over the campus grounds).

They're also thick over by the overlake area on 156th.

Don't hunt them there. That is against the law.  :)

At least take some pics of the rabbits if your out there looking at them.  Where I live there is several that are mixed with domestic rabbits and its funny to see lop eared wild rabbits.
