Moose and Deer crossbreed?

Saw this pic in the random gallery.  Is this the result of a frisky moose taking a doe??
This is an amazing animal.  Anyone have the story on it?

Wouldn't surprise me after seeing the moose mount up on the buffalo on another post floating around!   :chuckle:
