CFE .223 + 30-30 ?
« on: May 20, 2012, 04:44:05 PM »
So I've heard people rave about cfe .223 being awesome in it's being easier to clean and easier to meter. I'm definitely going to use it in my .223 if I can get my hands on it (apparently it's super popular right now.) I also see it listed in hodgdon's current magazine issue for my 160 gn ftx bullets for my 30-30. It seems to have a slightly slower burn rate than the leverevolution I've been using and it would be nice to buy one powder for the both of them. Has anyone tried this stuff in 30-30 or similar cartridges? I love my current powder but it'd be easier to explain to the mrs. about buying 8lb jugs if I said I used it for 2 guns.  :chuckle:
