Hubby and I are all loaded down and half way there! Hoping the bear we have seen every time we go up is there, the lead % in his blood is low and I need to help him with that! Good luck to everyone out and about hunting!

Got to our camping spot and had a little fight with the tent (no instructions) lol! Got to a point to stop so we could do some scouting. . . Not even fifteen minutes into leaving camp and I spot two good bears! They didn't stick around to long but we made a plan for our night hunt, cut some large brush down and going to sit. Its a beautiful valley with a stream running through the middle. . .tons of scat all over! Should be able to get one to night if we didn't spookem' to bad. . . .hope the come back. . .we will see if the luck is with us!
Just an update!

-Update on the hunt-
Hubby and I sat in the valley for two hours with praire dogs cherping at us the entire time. . . So we decided we would go look for morwee area and do some hiking around. Called it a day when the bellies started ru
mbling. . .
Sunday we sat for about two hours agin in that opening and nothing came back. We decided to drive to a different area. . .no sign of anything. We seemed to have better luck a couple weeks ago on a hill side. . .from camp we could actually glass that hill side and we didn't see not one bear. :-(
I am not 100% sure what we did wrong but we did not end up seeing anything after Saturday evening.
We have been up there more than once. . . We have spot and stocked on two bears and tried sitting in a great valley that we spotted them in and didn't get anything. Kinda bummbed but that is hunting!
On the other hand we slattered the praire dogs! Haha! That was the best part of the weekend!
