Bear pics (updated, checked cam father's day morn)
« on: May 27, 2012, 02:56:03 PM »
Set my Leupold RCX 2 out two weeks ago today. Forgot to set the time and date on it, so it is off. It showed today as 5/10/2012, so the pics were taken 2 and 3 days ago.

First time I have ever put a game cam out in the woods. Had it on my driveway for many months though trying to catch a car prowler.  ;)

I am on the Olympic Peninsula.
Coordinates? I'll give ya some, but they won't be in my ao.  :chuckle:

Just got back, reset the time/date stamp on the cam. I'll check it again next weekend.  If nothing, I got some more spots to scope out with it.  ;)

Another week, few more pics. This time the bear took interest in my camera. It is about 6 1/2 feet off the ground.

I changed the camera settings to video today, will give it one more week in this spot, then off to another area.  ;)

Ya, that is an old "old growth" stump that is just chock full of ants. That's why I picked this spot. ;)

If you can resize the photos down to no more than 800x600, they will all show. That seems to be one issue that is locking up a lot of topics. THANKS

Gotcha. I had resized them to about 30% of original size to get them under 500kb per. I'll take them down a little farther. Didn't know some of them weren't showing.
