Buddies New 26 ft. Walleye Boat!!
« on: May 29, 2012, 03:11:47 PM »
Met my friend down at Banks Lake on Sunday to break in his new 26 ft pontoon boat. He put an electric motor on the front and we were bottom bouncing at 1.4 miles per hour. Caught one big one and lots of smaller fish .. Here are a few pics. Oh yea, BBQ'd walleye a cold beverage and all the fixins!!

:yeah: They are great for calm water fishing, never been on one when it's rough out, how do they do?
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

We got caught at the north end of the lake and the wind came up.  We were camped at the south end. Coming back  the water was VERY rough. Mid-lake there were3-4 ft waves. We did not see any other boats still on the lake all the way back in. I could not believe how that boat took the waves.Had I been in my 17 1/2 ft Smokercraft it would have been a nightmare. We did have some of the bigger waves break over the bow but all in all I was glad to have been in that boat.VERY stable.
