The guys were after a bear last year in what we call "oak flats". Never know what your gonna find around there!
The wheat stubble made me think this kill was from years past. Nice looking bear, Congrats!

I have a buddy that hunts bear in Alberta and they shoot them in the Wheat fields. He says the farmers want them gone.

Ive hunted in Alberta and the farmers almost beg you to kill the bears they roll around in the wheat fields and destroy alto of crop for them they basically consider a bear a pest animal...

they are all over the wheat down by waitsburg, ive seen 2 of them in the middle of wheat stubble.
