How many days do you hunt?
« on: June 02, 2012, 11:37:38 AM »
So Clyde's ammo thread got derailed. Here is the question how many days do you hunt. Ducks and geese only.

I'm usually right around 70, between OR and WA. That counts third period goose in OR also. This year I may get 80 as I am hoping to hunt 10 days in Canada before we open. I manage to get this many days because I work weekends, and burn three weeks of vacation hunting also.

How many Saturdays are there in a season?

Take that number and and another 10 or 12 to it and you got my season.

Somewhere between 15 and 25 for ducks.

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
