im in that unit every year during muzzy and modern those elk could give a rats butt. yes the heards split up but there is still elk to be had for a decent hunter find a good crossing and let the other yahoos run them to you. last two years numbers have been way down but two years ago i think was mostly due to weather half of the season the fog was so thick you couldnt see 10 yards.

Thanks Johndeere I am used to hunting in a unit that is flooded with people...I hunted the 560 out of Trout Lake since I was 13 years old. Sometimes using others movement is the best way to get into elk I've learned in heavily hunted areas.
Shoot to kill....or don't shoot!
