Thought all those MH tags even the region tags were anterless only. Gonna have to bag that big old bull the general season way.
Thats one way to get out of the program in a hurry

The bad thing about those hunts is if you don't get called, you still lose all your points.I had a friend who drew North Bend a couple of years ago. He got a call and 5 days to hunt Mt Si golf course. They gave him a golf cart and told him to drive it to tbe end of one of the holes. He did, and shot a cow in the woods. After he field dressed it, he wrapped it in a tarp, threw it in the golf cart and drove back to the clubhouse. He gave them a hind quarter and loaded the rest in his truck. What a hunt!

I also like the purpose of the MH program and improving the relationship between the private landowners and hunters but I’m not doing any good sitting home waiting for a phone call that probably will never come. The WDFW has really hosed these damage control elk hunts and they’re hosing the MH who participates in them.I’d stay in the program if I lived closer to the SW WA damage control goose hunt area. That program is well run (mostly) but the drive is a bit far for me.
