I am very lucky to have drawn this tag after drawing the rifle bull elk in Peaches last year for which my brother and I both got bulls. This time I will be the first in the woods and the first time I will get to experience the rut. Anyone that had this tag in the past and wants to share story or tips please PM me. Thanks

I drew the tag last year for archery never had a close encounter saw one bull a few cows but the bulls got locked up because of heat but a few days before season started we saw some big bulls never saw them again

And what's wrong with the Bumping, I like that area, not to much pressure except those daring enough to venture out of their vehicles.

Nothing is wrong with Bumping but if I didn't draw a cow or bull tag then I wasn't going to chase spike only for another season. I drew so now I am staying put!

Had that same tag last year. Got my 5x5 bull on day 2. I will PM you with some info.
