Boistfort cow tag
« on: June 15, 2012, 01:49:14 PM »
Hello all!!  I recently found this forum and decided to join prior to putting in for special permits... I have seen other posts on here and it seems you all pretty good at helping out fellow hunters with info and advice which is why I joined.  My group has drawn cow tags in the Boistfort unit for the second year in a row, last year we drew this unit and with the advice of a friend of a friend who is a local from the town of Boistfort we had a great time hunting here.  It took us a few days to get the lay of the land with all of the private prop. and gates but we finally found the elk... unfortunately it was on the last day of season and we never did get a shot.  Long story short... we have a good idea of where we want to be, but I'm looking to see if anyone has has any local farmers as a contact to maybe get access to some land from below?  Congrats to all who drew tags and thanks in advance for any info... hopefully I will be able to contribute a good story and pics later this fall.

No smart azz here... I would be happy to trade wine for info,  the only thing is I don't make Merlot Or Cab,  just Old Vine Zinfandel.  Where are u located?  Shoot me a PM if you want.  I am serious.
