my dad got the  tag .was wondering if elk still around at that time  what are chance of filling tag

This area is all about the weather.  I have a muzzy bull tag there in December as well.  I have had two buddies over the past couple of years that have had cow and bull tags there and the hunting has been tough.  They were hunting with snow shoes and getting around on snowmobiles.  Lots of private ground, so start getting permission early.  Good luck
