Yale unit muzzy bull tag

I drew the tag, but don't know any thing about the area. good ?  Bad ? It is a late tag. :dunno:

Good question.  I haven't ever drawn a bull tag before. muzzy folks don't get a lot of choices so I just picked one that seemed popular.

Guess you didn't read the dates for this particular permit.... They should still be in the regs....  :dunno:

Yale is a restricted firearm unit, open for general muzzy and archery.  Your permit lets you hunt a late season.   I can help for the late season if you need it at that point.  I live in the Yale unit.  There is a lot of private land

Yep,

Small area, lots of public, some timber stuff. Lots of elk, but maybe not always where you can hunt them. Shouldnt be an issue to fill the tag, but I wouldnt have burned points on it. Would be a good cow tag area.

You can drive up 503 out of Woodland and see elk along the road in the fields more times than not. Seen some pretty nice bulls in there.

They kind of built a developement in the middle of the best of it in the last several years
