Bear back country.
« on: August 18, 2008, 01:25:25 PM »
holy cow so my friend told me about this little area and well and behold action, action, action is all i get.......

look at the sign, hopefully it will only be moments before i get a picture of a big ole boy on here dead........anyone else have an area torn up like this?? never seen anything so severe, there were about three times this many in a hundred yard section of trees.....just look at the trees and look at all the dead trees the bears had killed.......

so brian(catwithboost), AL (killbilly), and willie(btkr) this is where im hunting as you can see it is thick, and most my sightings have been at about 700 yards but about 250 yards in is devils club, stinging metle, and blackberrie vines.....so nasty in other words......

I call it Gods country.....
but thought these were cool so i thought i would show them to everyone.........

Lots of dead and dieing, tons of old sign, but there must be some berries or something to keep them around. I don't know if I would call that much in that situation. I would try to key in on the food source then spend a lot of time listening for feeding activity. Good luck.
