Where to buy a deep cycle marine battery?
« on: April 11, 2013, 02:11:23 PM »
Does anyone have a recommendation on where to buy a Deep Cycle marine battery (East side)?  Nothing too fancy – I’m just going to use it for a Minn Kota 30 lb.

Thanks,
Carl

There is only about 3 companies that make all the batteries, maby 4 but I'm sure 3. So just find the guys who sell them for less, maby type in "the cheapest batteries'' on google and see what pops up.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

There is only a few manufacturers of batteries.  Brands dont mean squat really.  Walmart is usually cheapest.  I buy em there and have no problems.  Most importantly they honor the warranty unlike ford did.  Costco can be good too.
MAGA!  Again..

I buy about $2k in batteries every six weeks over here for work and We use Toby's battery in Spokane. But we also use Interstate and they make the Costco batteries. Due to the volume we buy the best price is Toby's.

Costco has a 30 month warrantee.  The first year, you can take it back for ANY reason (you don't like the color, it's too heavy,...), after that, it's pro-rated.  I think I'm sold!
