« on: August 22, 2013, 08:28:31 PM »
Just got done packing all my stuff, and getting the incidentals together for the bear trip this weekend.  Need to check some cams in our deer area.  25+ miles deep into a wilderness!!!  :)))

You're right, I'm lying.  I just like to troll the internets.

Also, the bear hunt is incidental to scouting our high hunt area.

I know I personally wouldn't pack a stinky old bear that far, but good luck to ya!

Tough to see, right below the mountain house are zip lock bags with pop tarts and two vias for breakfast, cliff bar, Snickers, Costco trail mix, and butthole sandwich for lunch.

The sandwich is toasted bagel, peanut butter, honey and bacon.

Also take a zip fizz every day.

Nice!  I have heard about the butthole sandwiches.  I may have to try that for elk season.  What is vias? Do the zip fizz taste any good?  Are they loaded with caffeine? Sorry don't mean to be nosy, just curious and always looking for new ideas to try.  Thanks again for sharing!
