Whidbey Island help
« on: October 25, 2008, 12:25:29 PM »
Ok, I need help with Whidbey Island.  Im about to eat a tag sandwich this year.  Bad moon phase, to many hunters and dogs off leash in our hunting grounds, so Im beging for some help.

Everyone I know says go to Coupeville.  Good or bad info?  Any driving directions or points of interest on this island would be greatly apreciated. We have 1 day Sunday to hunt.
A pat on the back is just shy of a kick in the ass..

There's no deer on Whidbey!   :P   Worst thing about Whidbey is its primarily private property... lots of deer tho.

Yep... best bet is apples up here.  I only have a couple of acres unfortunately with neighbors but have apple trees in the back and have plenty of deer in and out.   Good luck to you and post the pics....  Here is a pic of a small buck just down the road from my place here on Whibdey,  bad thing is the guy who owns this property won't give permission to hunt.

Lopez is also a great choice.  A lot of private land but many of the owners are willing to give permission.
Will hunt for food.
