Nice whitetail
« on: November 08, 2013, 08:55:33 AM »

I jumped this fella out of his bed. I was pursueing a nice 5x4 muley and trying to figure out which coulee he dumped into and strategizing where/what I was going to do. I stood a doe up. I immediately started scanning the area, and there he was, bedded in deep grass and limbs from a downed tree. I started bringing my camera up and BOOM, he was gone. 10 seconds too slow for the photographer.

That is a helluva whitetail.  I dont like seeing his neck so skinny, however.

When did the white tail move into the Shela area. That's one nice white tail. Plus another great pic.

No where near Selah.   There are some here though, mostly by both gaps of the Yakima river, E burg side, and South gap of Yakima.

Very nice Bone. So are you going to start making in more of a point of taking more whitetail pics? Especially since they seem to be populating quite well in the valley.

Yes, as the month progresses I will be focusing more on the whities.   They are slowly becoming more and more active in the day.
