Black and White GSP or GWP?
« on: November 09, 2008, 05:04:30 PM »
I was thinking of buying my kids a GSP or a GWP for christmas (hey they asked for it and the side benefits to me, well...). So the question is does anyone know of any kennels here in WA or maybe even ID or OR that have black and white Shorthairs or Wirehairs? My wife loves the black and white coloring and I kind of like it too. Of course my big thing is a dog that hunts. My boy I have now has an unbelievable nose and would like to get another dog like him. He came out of Jeff Funkes Three Devils Kennel in Nampa, ID. Any help would be appreciated.

lee root in omak has drahthaars (fancy wirehairs) view some of my posts and you'll see my pup from him in action. I waited on a list for a few months so who knows if you can walk into one. lee is a pretty serious dog guy.when you hear how many miles he puts on for his dogs it will blow your mind. with that said, if you have ANY interest in waterfowl or a boat dog a gwp is gonna be a better candidate. they take the cold waaaay better.

lee is a member here, throw up a post, sooner or later he'll pipe up.
