Anyone here every run the washington back country discovery route? looks pretty interesting, I will probably try to run most of it this coming summer, might start in packwood and run down to oregon and head to the coast for a few days.

Anyone every done it?

My friends with bikes were going to do it. I'm not a motorcycle guy. I was trying to decide if I wanted to follow them in the Jeep. Never did it though. Looks like fun. You can keep going on the Oregon one too you know.

I will be doing it in a 4x4, it would be awsome on a bike, but I dont ride.

we have a family get together at the oregon coast in august, not enough vacation time to spend to much on the trails  :bash:

I know it's and old thread, but I'm curious about trying it (Carson to Packwood) durning early muzzleloader season.  Which units does it run through?

I'm hoping its Wind River/Sioxon, Lewis River and Packwood?
