So im pondering buying a cheap boat I can take out for warmwater fish, bass, catfish and walleye mostly, as well as some bowfisihng for carp.

looking around, im kind of liking the idea of a bass boat for most the waters I fish, but a older runabout would work as well.

my question is, does anyone use their bass boat as a multi species "do all" boat? I wouldnt mind using it to troll for trout on some lakes, or chase sturgeuon once in a while,  which leads me to think maybe an older run about that I can modify with casting decks etc would be a better choice.

I got one in my back yard you might be interested in. used it for everything from bass, pan fish, trolling trout to salmon. even used it to get out to some duck blinds. towed a lot of tubes & skies also. hasent been run in a couple years & interior could stand to be redone. let me think on it a bit pm me if interested. its in the tricities.
most bass boats already have a front & rear deck with removable seats, live wells, trolling mo ect. good for anything.

I would go with a "walleye" boat, more versatile and more freeboard
Go hawks
