Jerks work at All Game Taxidermy
« on: January 14, 2014, 09:45:10 PM »
I shot a 3 point mulie archery hunting and took it in for a European mount.  I got my mount and paid the balance.  The one guy there says "next time why don't you wait until you shoot something a little bigger and bring it in".  Unfortunately he wasn't making a joke. The comment seemed pretty unprofessional and for a business person to act like such a dick was uncalled for.  All Game Taxidermy is near Olympia.  Do yourself a favor and go to Charlies near Tennio I know I will from now on.

Wow, that does sound a bit rude. My first bear rug was tiny, my taxi never made a stink about it, he did a great job on it. (It was a blonde bear, so maybe that was why he didn't give me any grief... :dunno: )

Your taxi is sure not doing himself any favors. Taxidermy work is alot of advertising by word of mouth.

My taxi goes out of his way to make me feel good about at the small animals I bring him.  :chuckle:  Heck he even talked me into doing a full body mount on my bear saying it was the perfect size to display in a house.  He has told me and many of his customer...every animal is a trophy and he will treat it that way regardless!!  Stand up guy if you ask me and he does amazing work.

Huge shout out to Jeff Reeves at True to Life Taxidermy in East Wenatchee.

Sorry for you bad experience.  Seems for every good taxi there are two that are not so good.
