Missed out on this Mornings hunt, couldn't quite get outta work... Heading in tomorrow morning for the weekend. Can't wait!! Just to be out again.. Hunted the area a few times, seen some deer, but unsuccessful with Black tails so far. Hope this weekend works out! Any last tips on the area?

Good luck to all this weekend!!
Worst day hunting is better than best day working!

With the sunny/dry weather you will be fighting bikers and shooters. It should be a mad house on Saturday.

Went up yesterday and saw one Spike, but my cousin couldn't get a shot. It was 388 yards away and we tried to work closer, but he made it to the timber before we could get close enough. There were a lot of people up there yesterday.

Headedto Vail tomorrow to try and find my dad a buck. Where I have been going up at Vail, I see less people than I did yesterday at CF.  :o I think I counted 4-5 trucks that drove by while I was looking at the spike in the spotting scope.   :chuckle:

Yeah, I saw the buck in the back of his truck on my way up into Capital Forest to hunt.  Had to stop and take a look at it.  Biggest buck I have seen come out of their this year so far.  Nice 4x3 (no eye guards).  Didn't know he was a buddy of yours til he got back to my shop and started talking about trapping.
