No bear or even any sign. Top of that found out its one of the worst bear units lol.. wish i would have known that  earlier. Gonna do some coastal hunting next weekend..

Heres irony at its finest though. Searched and search mile after mile.. to no avail, Then last night driving home from work I almost hit a good 200 plus bar walking across our road by the house. Not sure if I was more mad about the the lack of sign in grade a looking territory or more mad that I didnt have my bow with me....

Only help I can offer is that I have spooked many while elk hunting midday in the dark timber.  The thick cool creek drainages and also they seem to like Oregon grapes if you run across that.  At least I think it was Oregon grape! :chuckle: Best thing you can do is go east. We are 2 for 2 so far and see/hear bear every other day it seems.
